String systems use a single PCS per battery cluster and connect them in parallel on the AC side. Since DC paralleling is unnecessary, circulating currents are eliminated, and the BMS only needs to control a single battery cluster, improving system reliability. A single battery cluster failure does not affect the operation of other clusters, reducing O&M costs.
