The 3-wire (center-tap) model includes additional N (neutral) terminals on both battery side (B+ / N / B-) and load side (P+ / N / P-). This configuration is purpose-built for UPS systems that require a neutral line connection.
Safety Precautions
High voltage inside. Only authorized technicians may open the chassis. Unauthorized disassembly voids warranty and risks.
  • After secondary protection trips, power off the system, clear the fault, and wait at least 1 minute before restarting to allow the circuit breaker shunt coil to cool
  • When cold-starting a PCS / Inverter / UPS from the battery, close the battery switch on the PCS side before starting the RBMS. Closing a charged battery into a large DC-bus capacitor can cause contactor arcing and welding
  • Installation and commissioning personnel must use insulated tools
  • For maintenance, disconnect the RBMS main circuit breaker to isolate the battery pack from the DC bus
  • Charging/discharging current and voltage parameters are factory-set during commissioning. Do not change them without authorization
  • In case of fire, use dry powder extinguishers or fire sand only
  • If the system will be idle for a long time, disconnect the main circuit breaker of the battery cabinet
  • Avoid prolonged use in environments exceeding specified temperature/humidity, with strong vibration, direct sunlight, dust, corrosive substances, or high salt fog

A 3-wire (center-tap) BMS provides a neutral (N) terminal in addition to positive and negative, enabling balanced connection to UPS and inverters that require a neutral line. If your UPS or inverter specifies a center-tap / neutral-line battery connection, this model is required.
Is this BMS compatible with my UPS brand?
