Product Description:

GCE high-voltage Battery Management System (BMS) master control box is an ideal solution for large-scale high-voltage battery energy storage systems and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications. Developed using distributed architecture and modular design concept, the BMS master control box provides a highly configurable and easy to assemble, debug and maintain solution.

The GCE BMS master control box is compatible with various battery energy storage systems with a DC voltage of up to 1000V.

 

Features:

The Advanced Battery Management System (ABMS) supports seamless monitoring, perfect self-test and operational status detection with its Human-Machine Interface (HMI) display, allowing users to get a glimpse of system operation information. It also provides perfect and reliable system control and protection strategies which effectively secure battery safety and ultimately prolong battery life. The ABMS makes product modularisation and scalability possible with flexible combination of multiple energy storage units, thus being able to expand a larger energy storage system of up to (400) series lead-carbon batteries or 272 series of other batteries.

The ABMS possesses rich communication interfaces, such as multiple RS485, CAN, Ethernet, dry contact input and output, thereby supporting communication with the majority of market- issued PCS, monitoring server, etc. It also provides flexible communication interface protocols, coming with its in-house communication protocol but adpates to client-specified PCS protocol if necessary.

The internal ABMS large-capacity memory chip provides storage for a great number of operational datas while an SD card can be installed for offline access. Depending on the presence or absence of protocol control function in the PCS, users can choose between the circuit breaker version or contactor + breaker version respectively. For automatic circulation control and automatic parallel machine control with easier battery parallel, (model suffix D) version can be chosen.

 

Technical Parameters:

The Basic Parameters of this system are as follows:

The operating voltage range for the system is 120-370 VDC and the rated current is 50A.100A.The system is DC started with passive resistance equalization for balancing. Voltage sampling accuracy is single cell voltage ±20mV while temperature sampling accuracy is ± 2℃

It is equipped with communication mode: CAN 1 channel (for communication with PCS/UPS), RS485 1 channel (for communication with host computer / PCS / UPS). Display method comprises of 6-digit LED indicator, containing 1 for fault indication, 1 for running indication, and 4 for SOC power indication, with an optional 3.5" HMI display.

Short circuit protection of the system is 7.5KA 20ms and the maximum overload capacity is 50A System Transients: 70A/10S; 100A System Transients: 150A/10S with 1 level warning and 2 level protection. Its power consumption is ≤10W, with an insulation withstand voltage of 1800VDC 1mA 1min. The system complies with CE standards and the operating ambient temperature and humidity are -20~60℃ and <90 RH(40℃±2℃) respectively.
