The GCE high-voltage BMS master control box is a Battery Management System developed for large-scale high-voltage battery energy storage systems and UPS applications. It adopts a distributed architecture and a modular design concept, making it highly configurable, so assembly, debugging, and maintenance are convenient. The GCE high-voltage BMS is suitable for many battery energy storage systems featuring DC voltage below 1000V.
Advanced Battery Management System is a highly integrated battery management system that enables seamless monitoring. It features perfect self-test and operational status detection with an HMI display that allows users to observe system operation information at a glance. Additionally, the system has perfect and reliable system control and protection strategies to fully protect battery safety and extend battery life.
The design of Advanced Battery Management System is modular and configurable, scalable upto 272 (lead-carbon battery 400). It has rich communication interface such as RS485, CAN, Ethernet, dry contact input and output, and interfaces to support most PCS and monitoring server communication. It is also capable of adapting to different communication protocol based on customer's preference. Additionally, it contains large memory chips that could store a vast amount of key operational data and supports installing an SD card for offline access.
Depending on customer's need, PCS can be configured with a protocol control function or contactor +breaker version and support automatic circulation control, automatic parallel machine and off-line control, making battery parallelization easier. (Model suffix selection D).
The system operating voltage range is 120-370 VDC, and the rated current is 50A, 100A. It uses DC start as the start-up method and the passive resistance equalization as the balancing type. The balancing current is 100mA ± 10mA(when single cell voltage 3.50V) and the temperature sampling accuracy is ± 2℃. The voltage sampling accuracy is single cell voltage ±20mV.
The communication mode includes: one channel of CAN (for communication with PCS/UPS) and one channel of RS485 ( for communication with host computer / PCS / UPS). The display method presents 6-digit LED indicator (including 1 fault indication, 1 running indication, and 4 SOC power indication). The optional HMI display is a 3.5" display.
The short circuit protection is 7.5KA 20ms and the maximum overload capacity for 50A system is 70A/10S, and 150A/10S for 100A system. There are one level warning and two levels protection - level 1 Cut off charging/discharging, level 2 Cut the micro-break switch and power down the system. The power consumption is ≤10W and the insulation withstand voltage is 1800VDC 1mA 1min. It meets the national standards of CE standards and the operating ambient temperature is -20~60℃, with the operating ambient humidity of <90 RH(40℃±2℃).
